Additional Module for Fully Automatic Winding of Air Coils
The AFW module can be supplied for and also later on be adapted to the IWT
machine types FW 1xx and FW 2xx. After an initial installation which has to be
done in our plant, the adaption can easily be carried out by the user.
With the help of the additional module, the following working steps can be carried out automatically:
1. Clamping of wire
2. Hot-air bonding during winding
3. Cutting of wire
4. Ejecting of the coil
The control of the AFW module and of the other additional devices (blower, air-heater, etc.) is done via an additional programmable logic controller (PLC) which is fitted into a separate switch cabinet.
