The revolving tailstock can be supplied for and also later on be adapted to the
IWT machine types FW 112 and FW 212. After an initial installation which has to
be done in our plant, the adaption can easily be carried out by the user.
The standard equipment consists of two spindle positions, i.e. while winding is carried out at the 1st spindle position, manual work (like for example intermediate and final insulations, inserting of insulation hoses, soldering of stranded wires, etc.) can be done at the 2nd spindle position.
The standard equipment can be extended up to 4 spindles, depending on the
case of application. With the help of the revolving tailstock, processes
adapted to customer's specific requirements can be automated. The function of
the revolving tailstock is carried out by an additional programmable logic
controller (PLC) and can, therefore, be adapted in a flexible way to the
specific winding task.
